Since our convention venues are dispersed in and around Disney resorts and theme parks, meeting planners have the advantage of utilizing the convenient transportation infrastructure of our locations, which makes planning large events a little bit easier (and more cost-effective than you might think).

For example, the unique transportation network at the Walt Disney World Resort combines both bus and monorail systems to give your attendees and you the flexibility to move around the area for Downtown Disney, Disney theme parks and more.

Convenience and service are at the heart of this, and you can take advantage of Disney’s Magical Express, which will pick up everyone at the airport and transport them to their resort for hassle-free transportation that you won’t even need to coordinate. One common sentiment that we hear from planners during their first visit is surprise—because this transportation is included. Yes—you read that correctly: Included.

“Meeting planners find Disney’s Magical Express to be cost effective and a time saver,” said Jose Mota, Senior Catering & Convention Services Director. “In fact, one of the things we hear from attendee and clients is the amount of time they save. Because we take the stress of dealing with luggage at the airport and then take it all the way to your hotel room, all of that time is given back on arrival as well as departure.”

At the Disneyland Resort, getting around is even easier since the entire resort is walkable, and there is a monorail. When you visit Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, the Ko Olina area surrounding the resort is connected by walkways, and there’s a convenient shuttle to nearby shopping and dining.

With all of the other elements that you need to think of when planning events, transportation logistics doesn’t have to be a challenge. It’s just one of the Disney Differences and potential cost savings that you and your attendees will enjoy during your stay at a Disney Destination.
