Planners looking to dazzle their attendees don’t have long to wait! That’s because starting May 22, 2015, the Diamond Celebration kicks off at the Disneyland Resort in California, celebrating 60 years of Disney magic. Featuring all-new, electrifying entertainment elements, specialty food and beverage selections, real diamond giveaways and more, the Diamond Celebration promises many fun-filled surprises.
From sparkling décor to three new, sensational nighttime spectaculars, this celebration will bring to life entertainment elements never seen before — creating a spectacular backdrop for events. For meeting professionals, the new shows will provide still more entertainment options for private events held in the Disneyland theme parks, whether it’s a reception for 20, or an opening or closing-night gala for thousands. The new, nighttime spectaculars also offer more exciting entertainment for attendees to enjoy on their own, after a full day of meetings. The Diamond Celebration will feature three fantastic, new shows that will expand the boundaries of after-dark entertainment:
• Fireworks: The Disneyland Forever show features an immersive street-to-sky experience like you’ve never experienced.
• Parades: One-million brilliant lights paired with special effects will delight attendees at the Paint the Night parade.
• Nighttime Spectacular: World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney illuminates a magical water canvas to tell the story of Walt’s dream for Disneyland. For groups, private viewing locations make the show ideal for receptions and dessert parties of up to 9,000 people. The show is also available for private buy-outs and can be customized with organization logos and messages.
Planners and attendees can also look forward to Diamond anniversary-themed culinary confections, like these delectable cupcakes, which will be available throughout the theme parks and resorts, and can also be prepared exclusively for your event.
