Say goodbye to Downtown Disney and hello to Disney Springs, a one-of-a-kind waterfront destination for shopping, dining, nightlife and entertainment located at Walt Disney World Resort. The transformation of this vibrant district includes new retail, food and beverage and nighttime entertainment options for attendees visiting the resort for a meeting or convention.

The expansion is well underway, as new signature restaurants and shops continue to debut. Just opened this week, Morimoto Asia showcases flavors from across the Asian continent, all with Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s creative touch. Complete with a sushi bar, private rooms available to groups and a two-story outdoor terrace offering sweeping views of Disney Springs, Morimoto Asia is truly a feast for the senses.

Also recently opened at Disney Springs are two, new dynamic restaurants that bring a sense of adventure to the mix. The Boathouse, an upscale waterfront restaurant, houses two private dining rooms, The Regata and The Trophy Room, both of which are perfect for hosting special events, receptions and smaller corporate presentations. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, which just opened last week, is an aviation-themed lounge serving up unique cocktails and small plates, and is a perfect destination for attendees to unwind after a day of meetings.

But, this is just the beginning of the new offerings still to come to Disney Springs! A number of new shopping and dining outlets will soon debut, including The Edison, inspired by the popular Los Angeles restaurant, will feature lavish décor and delectable American food, craft cocktails and live entertainment. STK Orlando will offer a modern twist on the traditional American steakhouse featuring an innovative menu mixed with a high-energy atmosphere, complete with and sleek lounge and rooftop dining.

With significantly more shopping, dining and entertainment offerings amid beautiful open-air promenades, meandering springs and waterfront charm, Disney Springs is a destination in and of itself, creating even more exciting nightlife and free-time options for attendees. Best of all, complimentary bus transportation is available day and night from all Walt Disney World Resort hotels to the nearby Disney Springs, providing attendees quick and easy access to all the reimagined district offers.

Whether you’re a meeting professional or event planner looking to host a private group in a signature restaurant, or a convention attendee looking to shop to your heart’s content or unwind with a cocktail after a day of meetings, Disney Springs offers plenty of options for planners and attendees alike.
